Bitcoin’s strong rise to the highest level in market history is being driven by a powerful combination of macroeconomic factors and regulatory support, according to Ryan Lee, chief analyst at Bitget Research. Both Bitcoin and Ethereum are enjoying a significant price boost that should last at least until the end of the third quarter. Lee said that Bitcoin’s rise above $117,000, fueled by Trump’s pro-crypto policies, ETF inflows, and corporate bond purchases, indicates a sustained upward trend for Q3 2025. BTC is forecast to average $125,000 with a high of $135,000-$150,000 and a low of $105,000-$110,000 per coin. Ethereum, currently trading at $2,800–$3,000, is being driven by ETF inflows, Pectra gains, and DeFi growth, with a Q3 average forecast of $3,800, up from $2,900 to $5,000 per coin. ETH needs to break the $3,700 price ceiling to confirm bullish momentum, but could fall to $2,700 if BTC weakens or regulatory uncertainty arises. Lee noted that Bitcoin’s current strong rally is being driven by a mix of macroeconomic tailwinds and regulatory developments. Lee said the levels to break higher are Bitcoin’s key support at $108,500 and resistance at $130,000. “If BTC fails to hold above $110,000 in the coming week, it could signal a temporary pause and open the door to a deeper correction before Q4 momentum continues, he said.
